GogolFest will return to Kyiv after a ten-year break. The anniversary festival, themed β20 Years Later,β will take place at the ICCM (October Palace), where visitors will have access for the first time to areas of the building that were previously closed to the public.
The program will feature music, theater, visual art, performances, and literary discussions. Part of the abandoned KinoPalats cinema will be transformed into a Squat, where around 50 artists from Ukraine and Europe will work on murals, installations, and immersive performances. The space will also host performance, visual art, and film programs.
An open-air stage will be set up in the garden at the back of the building, hosting performance, social, and environmental initiatives, as well as literary readings. The Main Building will feature design residencies, a literary program, and a selection of performances.
The general festival pass does not include events at the Main Stage, the music stage in the Inner Courtyard, the Column Hall, the Luhansk Theater, or the theater hall in the Squat β tickets for these events will be sold separately. A one-day ticket will also be available for purchase at the venue on the day of the festival.
