The ethnocultural festival “Vyriy. Open Air” will take place on August 8โ9 at the KIT Performance Pavilion at VDNH. This will be the second edition of the festival project: the first Vyriy festival was held in 2025 and attracted 12,000 visitors.
The music program already features the indie rock band Vivienne Mort, singer Ganna, and Berlin-based artist Holly North, whose work blends ambient, techno, and dark electronic music. The full lineup will be announced later by the organizers.
A special feature of this year’s festival will be a dedicated wedding space, organized in partnership with Diia, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Ministry of Justice. Official ceremonies conducted at the festival will have legal validity. Couples will have access to a wedding area complete with a host, ceremonial attributes, an arch, a photographer, and a videographer.
It will not be possible to register a marriage spontaneously on-site, as documents must be verified in advance. However, anyone interested can take part in a symbolic wedding ceremony on a first-come, first-served basis.
